Although the town with a population of two thousand is located in a rather remote area of the country, there is a well-known ski resort far beyond its borders. This place is thriving:

equestrian sports,

mountaineering,

hiking and ecotourism.

You can always rent a bike, swim or just relax on the lake in the mountains, at the same time admiring the views.

The settlement that gave rise to the city was rebuilt almost from scratch in the middle of the last century, after the war. Today, buying real estate in the mountains of Montenegro at an altitude of one and a half thousand meters is a very profitable prospect. There are almost two dozen glacial lakes nearby, of which the closest and at the same time the most beautiful is the Black Lake, known far beyond the borders of the country.

The Durmitor National Park, established in the middle of the last century, is named after the mountain range, which today is protected along with a number of river canyons and the upper part of the Komarnitsa plateau. Since the area is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, real estate in the north of Montenegro is popular throughout Europe and beyond: both ecological and classical tourism does not cease to flourish here.

The routes run, in particular, through the canyon of the Tara River — the fourth deepest in the world, the first in Europe. Virtually the whole of Montenegro is building its tourist infrastructure around the Durmitor Park and the city of Zabljak. The composition of popular sports is changing: skiing and snowboarding are popular in the winter season, mountaineering and hiking are popular in the summer. However, at any time of the year, investments in Montenegro remain one of the most profitable in the entire region, pay off quickly enough and allow you to build your own business if you wish.
